Focus Training has been owned by its current Directors since March 2001. The Directors have a simple but very clear objective - to provide high quality training. This objective sets a precedent in every aspect of the company and investment in the quality of our provision is paramount to the company's continued success.
Focus Training considers its best asset is its people and there is a real team spirit across the company giving all our people a pride in the company and the reputation it has developed over the years.
From the outset, Focus Training decided to deliver courses that were subject to rigorous external assessment through awarding bodies giving our students the security of knowing that their courses were of the highest standard.
In 2002, Focus Training became the first private training provider in the health and fitness industry to achieve ISO 9001 accreditation. As an internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses, ISO 9001 is by far the worlds most established quality framework, and sets the standard for quality management systems. It helps our organisation to succeed through improved customer satisfaction, staff motivation and continual improvement through regular audits to ensure that the company continually maintains high standards for our students as it grows.
In 2005, Focus Training were inspected by the Adult Learning Inspectorate (now Ofsted). The result was that Focus Training were awarded the highest possible rating - a Grade 1, the first achieved by a private training provider in the Health and Fitness Industry, a record that still stands today. One of the major contributory factors was the quality of student support especially through our distance learning support tutors, a theme that was emphasised during a recent Ofsted inspection which additionally awarded a Grade 1 for the quality of provision and our capacity to improve, which is a cornerstone of our ongoing improvements to benefit our learners.
Focus Training is now recognised across the health and fitness indsutry as a provider of the highest quality and one that can be trusted to support and deliver to our clients.
